This 6th annual event will take place at the College of Lake County which is approximately 42 miles north of Chicago and about 45 minutes north of Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Tentatively scheduled workshops include: Photography and the DigitalCamera, Dealing with the Hurt, Writing Your Life's Story and Computers and You. All the workshops are learner-led The whole conference is organized and planned by adult learners. The conference also features Home Base and an "Open Mic." Special for this year will be an authentic Hawaiian Luau and Entertainment. There are still some openings for additional workshops which MUST be learner-led. There also will be special workshops and Home Base for spouses, tutors and staff. Anticipated costs for the conference, materials and five meals is about $50.00 Hotel accommodations are not yet finalized .
