Pat,

For me feminism is about equality, equal pay for equal work, and unlimited 
access to jobs.  I feel the  same way about men, equal pay for equal work and 
equal access to jobs.  

Feminism also means a lot more, respect between men and women, and 
non-violent relationships.  That's really about it.

I included the article about violence because it was only after the evidence 
of videocameras that the fact of groups of men beatng up on women in Central 
Park, New York, made the newspapers.   Both men and women have protested this 
action.  The attacked women were out enjoying the park on a nice day.  I 
would call the men and women who protested this, "feminists."
