Sue,

You're great.  I know what you are talking about, but there is this fine line 
sometimes between "normal" and "out of whack."  I also knew I was talking a 
chance even to put down such a silly  example.  But there you are, it is 
silly, but it is real.
There's a difference between being polite and groveling.
