This came across my desk and I thought that some of you may be interested:
The deadline for submissions of proposals for this year's Pedagogy and Theatre of the Oppressed Conference is fast approaching. It is DECEMBER 1ST!
Please take a moment to think through how you can devise a workshop, develop a paper, challenge a debate, or change the world in Omaha.
Rudolfo Chavez Chavez is assembling a thrilling group of respondents around the topic of race, color, and "skinning our masks". He is also preparing his own remarks on this same general subject, while Joni Jones is assembling a
remounting of her extraordinary performance piece on race, gender, and education.
If you need the proposal form, that's easy. Go to: http://www.unomaha.edu/~pto
and you'll be at our website. Remember: Hey hey, ho ho! Fight oppressors with PTO!
Best to all of you,
Doug Paterson (paterson@unomaha.edu) (402-554-2422)
