I thought that some of you may find this interesting:
In 1975, the United Nations declared March 8 International Women's Day. For its 2001 edition, L'Oréal Paris decided to pay tribute to women in two ways: first by offering them a gift, and then by helping the Canadian Women's Foundation.
For each gift distributed, L'Oréal Paris will donate two dollars to this foundation, which is Canada's first and only public foundation designed to raise and grant funds to meet the needs of women and girls.
