And without relationships we are toast--nothing. We can accomplish nothing without relationships, from the simplest transactions to life-long commitments. Talk about assumptions-- many people for years have assumed I am gay--and it's not me, it was my mother! We share many of the same gestures, ways of relating, and so on. These are really not simple issues. I find your remarks most true when going into different cultures, which is why I enjoy heraing from teachers, students, from different cultures.
