Let's think of countries also where everybody is middle class, meaning 
everybody has a stake in the future.  Norway?  

The reason I liked Janet's post so much is that she identified the violence 
within our culture, not over there but right here.  This has to be an index 
of INEQUITY and a lack of economic freedom.  Anybody got more figures?  More 
evidence?  The distribution of violence against women?
