Please excuse me for taking so long getting back to you, I have just read all 
your messages and find them not only interesting but potentially useful.
Unfortunately, I DELETED your terrific description of working in the 
slums--the one where you talked about very sweet tea.  Could you email that 
to me again, please?

I would love to have a copy of your dissertation!  It would be a delight to 
read first hand descriptions of literacy work in India.
