One very useful article I found was by H.C. Davis and is available on the Correctional Education Website. Another extremely interesting article was by inmate and educator Kathy Boudin from Harvard Educational Review Summer 1993 about her implementation of a literacy education program using AIDS as the basis for the curriculum. Its surprising how little research there is out there on this vital issue. Thanks, Rachel
