This is such a big amorphous topic I can bearly try to grasp it.  

The point about the label is that it provokes a reaction of shrinking, of 
denial, then usually a quick cover-up from other people.  Knowing this, a 
woman might want to remain silent, whether she has moved beyond or not.

Moving beyond means integrating the experience.
