As Christy Guillon has pointed out, snail mail is even slower these days as government mail is being checked for anthrax. To avoid delays of a week or more, fax or email your letters. You should be able to email your own state senator by substituting their last name for kennedy in that address. However, when I tried to do so, my email was reurned for my NJ senators (not for Kennedy). I queried the email administrator and am waiting back for a reply. The senate page also lists phone numbers, but no fax numbers for each senator, so you can call and get a fax number. Some of the email sites for individual congress members are set up to only take a short message. Good luck. Anyone with better contact info please amend these suggestions. DD
