Dear Catherine and Gail,

Thank you very much for your kind words; as is common with those in my position I did not know what to expect. The only reason for me to say what I did is in order to help other women. I am writing in the context of Daphne's project which sounds like a remarkable piece of research, and I am sure that all of us on the list will be fascinated to learn its conclusions. I think she is terrific to be so open with some of her concerns--what a great attitude.

Andrea
