This Sunday, the March for Women's Lives in Washington, D.C.,will be
going on.
The march will be attended by more than 1,000 women's rights, civil
rights and health care organizations, alongside religious leaders from
all 50 states, to protest in the nation's capital the restrictions of
women's health and reproductive rights. Organizers say they expect more
than 750,000 marchers, an unprecedented number.
I am curious, especially for those of you who live in the DC area,
whether adult learners plan on attending-either in support of the march
or against the march.
Do any of you plan to use this as a classroom activity to spark a
writing/reading exercise?
Please let us know!
Daphne
