Hello all,
This is a reminder that three deadlines are approaching for the WE
LEARN Women & Literacy Conference, March 11-12, 2005.

All deadlines are January 31, 2005 -- and they cannot be extended.

1) ABE Student Scholarships & Program grants to encourge ABE student
attendance

We are making a strong effort to encourage the participation of ABE
students. We have some funding available through contributions made to
the Elizabeth Morrish Memorial Student Scholarship Fund. Students may
apply themselves directly. The application form is downloadable at
http://www.litwomen.org/conferences/2005/ABEscholarship.rtf

WE LEARN also encourages programs to bring groups of students. WE LEARN
will provide up to 5 ABE student registrations for programs to bring
groups of students -- first come, first served basis. Programs are
asked to match the number (though not required) and will be responsible
for transportation expenses as well as teacher/administrator
registration. To receive an application, please send an email to
welearn@litwomen.org or call 401-383-4374.

2) Work exchange for conference registrations fees -- for grad
students, volunteers (including VISTA, etc.), part-time teachers
for more details & a form, go to:
http://www.litwomen.org/conferences/2005/workexchange.rtf

3) Reservations at the The Inn at Brown University.
For those who want to stay overnight at the conference location, The
Inn at Brown University, reservation must be made by Jan. 31, 2005. For
the form, go to: http://www.litwomen.org/conferences/2005/travel.pdf
(pdf version) or http://www.litwomen.org/conferences/2005/travel.htm
(html version).

For those who cannot make reservations by the Jan. 31 but still may
need overnight accommodations, we have also made arrangements at the
Radisson hotel located near the conference site, with conference rates.
Reservations for the Radisson are not due until Feb. 28. For more
information, go to: http://www.litwomen.org/conferences/2005/travel.pdf
(pdf version) or http://www.litwomen.org/conferences/2005/travel.htm
(html version).

the program book, making donations or exhibiting materials, we would
like to request an indication of interest or reservation by Jan. 31,
2005. for more details, visit:
