Colleagues,

There is a very nice article on Larry Summers in the Washington Post today.  The writer describes many ambiguities abut the guy, and touches what seems to me some salient issues about power (male and female) Harvard, and arrogance.

You really should read it.  A central character is Larry Summers's car.

I live north of Harvard Square, and every graduation day, and the night before, I drive through or take a stroll through parts of the Harvard campus.  At those times it is awash with limousines.
