Theatre of the Oppressed workshops with Augusto Boal precede the conference (Legislative Theatre May 25 - 27, Introduction to TO May 28). This conference would be of interest to literacy researchers and educators who are concerned about and who focus on social justice. The conference is based on the works of Paulo Freire and Augusto Boal; and other critical theorists, researchers and practitioners across settings.
