However the men caught and detained at the border were taken across and left on the other side whereas the women were locked up, no contact with anybody and later transferred to a womens prison in Las Vegas, Nevada with no explanation, this was a few years ago I was unable to get any other info on them. I had been doing a story or am doing I should say a photodocumentary "The Migrant Woman's Journey". I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has worked with migrant women facing this issue.
