This free curriculum can be accessed online at http://www.womenwork.org/mmw/index.html. This year, Women Work! has been awarded a grant from JPMorgan Chase Foundation to fund an initiative that expands our current financial literacy efforts. Titled Demystifying Banks, the goal of the project is to help service providers offer effective financial literacy classes to women in transition, thereby improving their chances of economic stability. Demystifying Banks is being offered as a member-only resource. This fall WW! will conduct the Demystifying Banks course by teleconference to programs across the country that are seeking to or are currently implementing the Making Money Work! curriculum. Course topics will include how to implement a financial literacy program, how to create effective partnerships, and what employment opportunities are available in banking and financial institutions. Please share this opportunity with your members and networks.
