Hello. I have just joined the listserve, and am looking forward to
learning and sharing
with others in my field. My name is Susan Holt. I am on staff with the
Virginia Workforce Improvement Network, which trains and supports adult
education administrators and instructors of workplace programs in
Virginia. One of the program developers here is looking for answers
to two questions, in order to serve his client:
        1) Does anyone have suggestions for a strong, validated
pre-employment
assessment tool that includes a mechanical comprehension piece? His
company
needs to know if potential employees can identify and use certain
standard tools
and have a basic mechanical knowledge. And...
        2) What pre-employment assessments in general do you
recommend...that
are applicable to manufacturing industries, but other industries as
well?

Thanks for your ideas!
