I thought other subscribers would be interested, so here are Fiona's thoughts and a question -- and your comments are most welcome! ..over here we have been thinking about literacy affecting companies in 3 ways: - the literacy of their current employees - the literacy they expect their CUSTOMERS to contend with (lots of stuff on that in Literacy and Health projects going on in Canada at the moment, and the UK Plain English campaigns) and - the literacy levels of the pool from whom they can RECRUIT.... .. and there's a bit of research going on at the moment about literacy and recruitment testing over here - is there anything equivalent in the US?
