I'll have to look at English Discoveries. I'm not familiar with it.
One of the recommendations I always give people is to have learners and 
teachers actually sit down and use the software you are contemplating and 
give their opinions.  There are also some checklists out there and I'll look 
for my file on that.
Of course, Heide Spruck-Wrigley and David Rosen probably have these on the 
tips of their fingers.  Are you on the NIFL-ESL list?
