Dear all
(apologies for cross-posting)

Just to inform you all that the Workplace Basic Skills Network Annual
Residential Conference and AGM on Thursday/Friday 30 Nov/1 Dec will be GOING
AHEAD AS PLANNED (despite extensive TV coverage of thigh-high floods in the
centre of York this weekend!!)

The hotel where the conference is taking place, the Jarvis, is outside the city
centre, and is 'high and dry'.... and road access to the hotel is fine via the
outer ring road. Trains are able to reach York Station and taxis can get from
the station to the hotel (though at the moment they have to take a long route,
bypassing the city).

If you haven't already registered please call the Network (01524 593405) or
email wbs.net@lancaster.ac.uk or REPLY to this email for a copy of your
conference programme and registration form. (CLOSING DATE 16TH NOVEMBER)

Full details are also on our website wbsnet@lancaster.ac.uk">http://wbsnet@lancaster.ac.uk or see
below:
