Firstly, a broader thought. Who is the audience for the overall LINCS system? My presumption is that the audience is basic skills educators (whether they are located in a company, community college, public school, CBO, etc.) and not HR professionals, employers, or supervisors. Now onto the questions you asked. Trainee/Learner - perhaps it can say Learner/Trainee because I think that every person involved in workforce preparation or worksite instruction may consider themselves a learner but only people in job training programs may consider themselves a trainee. HR Trainer/Teacher - I don't think it should be renamed this way because I don't believe that an HR Trainer is the primary audience for LINCS. I can live with Teacher/Trainer which also better matches with Learner/Trainee. Employer/Supervisor - I am not sure if the resources in that category are really for an employer or a supervisor of an incumbent worker. From glancing at the resources in this section, it seems that they are designed more for the administrator/coordinator of a workforce preparation or a worksite literacy program. Also, is an employer/supervisor really the audience for the LINCS system? I personally don't believe that they are. Thanks again for asking for our input.
