Tom Sticht posted the following information to the International
Reading Association Adult Education and Family Literacy Special
Interest Group list (how's that for a mouthful!). I thought some of
you might be interested in participating in his workshops.

Folks: I will be doing a couple of one day workshops on New York's Long
Island on Thursday December 7 (Listening & Reading Processes of Adults)
and on Friday the 8th (Functional Context Education-FCE) (contact Martin
Murphy for more info (516) 897-2268). I thought you might find the
following web sites that I will discuss in the FCE workshop of interest
re your work in adult literacy education.
Happy Thanksgiving!
