The video series is in 26 half-hours and can be compared to a family drama or TV sitcom. What you may find interesting from the workplace point of view.....the series revolves around the lives of six recurring characters who work at a small restaurant - a very familiar service industry setting. Many of the episodes are conducive to workplace-themed lessons such as punctuality, job interviews, worker protection, diversity in the workplace. The videos in the series have been correlated to EFF. The videos and supporting print materials (for low-beginning thru intermediate-high adult learners) have all been correlated to the Dept of Labor SCANS competencies as well. Let me know if you would like to see some samples.
