My organization is interested in moving our Workplace ESOL program from a free, grant-funded status to a paid, contract status. At present, in order to qualify for our program, employers have to hire a certain number of refugees after which ESOL classes are offered to them and any other employees needing English instruction. I would like to hear from others who may have gone through this process in some way. How did you do it? What steps did you take? What would you do again? what would you change? Also, what fees did you or do you charge for such services? Did you charge per instruction hour? If so, how did you figure in pre- and post-assessment? How did you sell a program so that employers would be willing to pay for it? I welcome any comments, suggestions or stories. Thank you. ===== Kimberley Kreeft Workplace ESOL Coordinator Community Refugee and Immigration Services __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
