Join workforce officials from across the country in Baltimore, MD on
July 16-18, 2001 for JETT*CON2001. The focus of this year's conference
reflects two major developments. The first is America's Workforce
Network, the WIA-inspired system of programs and partnerships that has
redefined the delivery of workforce development programs at all levels
of government. The second is E-Government, the promising
transformation of government services and programs through the use of
the Internet and other information technology and communication tools.
Co-sponsored by the Employment and Training Administration and the
National Association of State Workforce Agencies, JETT*CON2001
includes the information and practical examples that Federal, state,
and local officials need to chart their course through these exciting
changes in the workforce development system.

JETT*CON highlights the information needed to build the partnerships
which are so essential to new workforce systems:
ˇ	Including all federal, state, and local workforce partners and
programs
ˇ	Making universal access a reality by reaching customers too often
left out: Rural customers, Persons with disabilities, Women,
Out-of-School Youth, Limited or non-English speakers, Welfare
recipients, Older workers
ˇ	The key role of business, both as a customer and as a provider of
strategic direction through their leadership role on workforce boards.
Building on the highly acclaimed features of JETT*CON2000, the
conference will include over 150 exhibitors, an expanded HyperLink
Café, and outstanding workshops and plenary sessions.

Also, this year, we are proud to have the Government Learning
Technology Symposium join us as part of JETTCON2001. For more
information on this conference within JETT*CON2001, please visit their
website www.flx.gov/glts.
