A draft of "National Adult Literacy and Health Vision and Action Agenda" is now posted to the Health and Literacy Special Collection Website at http://www.worlded.org/us/health/lincs. Your review and comments are requested. This paper is one of four papers commissioned by the National Literacy Summit 2000 to generate focused thinking on specific issues and create action agenda items that will strengthen the adult education system in the United States. A group of nine literacy and health practitioners from across the country developed this draft for the field's consideration. You will be able to read the document and send your comments or suggestions directly to us via the Website. The document will be up on the site for two weeks. We will then review all comments and thoughtfully incorporate your feedback with the goal of submitting a final draft to the National Institute for Literacy by June 1, 2000. Thank you in advance for your contributions to this process. If you have questions or concerns, please email the process facilitator, Judy Titzel, at jtitzel@worlded.org. ------------------------------------------ World Education 44 Farnsworth Street Boston, MA 02210 617-482-9485 Heidi A.
