This position however will be part of the AFL-CIO Working for America Institute. As staff of the Institute, the incumbent would be working on the Project with an eye towards replication of such a project in other locations and towards learning lessons that could be disseminated nationally. The Training Coordinator will develop and design curriculum for occupational skill and basic skill training and education as well as develop appropriate assessments, train staff, teach, and work with other providers to ensure that unions, employers, and workers themselves have the training and education that meets their needs.
