This year our theme is the GED. We want to highlight organizations assisting adult learners in preparing for the GED test. Our site will also focus on how different organizations are celebrating International Literacy Day. The site will be launched September 1, and will remain as a homepage feature through September 30. After September, the site becomes a permanent part of LiteracyLink's website. There will be three sections to the Web site. - How to improve literacy and GED skills in your community - Real-life stories that may include how agencies or organizations work with business and industry or how a person benefited as a result of earning their GED - The importance of literacy and the GED. We will also highlight Governor Ruth Ann Minner (DEL). Governor Minner is a GED graduate. She will be our Litlinker Forum guest for September. >From September 1-15 you will be able to email her questions and have them answered on the website.
