Hi Laurel,
I don't have any suggestions on where to look, but I would certainly
appreciate it if you would let me know what you find out from your inquiry.
In KY we are quickly growing in ESL instruction at the workplace. It would
benefit us to know your results, and I can help others to find your
information as well.

I am in the process of building a web site. I have posted the address on
this forum earlier this summer. Now that fall is here I will post it again
for those that missed it previously. The site address is:
www.geocities.com/workplace_education I am requesting that the list members
forward to me website addresses to add to the site. I have been getting some
very interesting sites sent to me. It would be great to continually add new
ones! I had already been asked about adding ESL and the workplace. I am
waiting for a list of websites dealing with that to be sent to me from
California. I will post them on my website when she gets them to me. Maybe
this message will help her to get them to me as she is on this list serve!
;)

If I can help in any other way let me know!

I am wondering if anyone out there has any cold, hard facts on
bottom-line benefits (the $$$=92s) that companies reap when they provide
on-site (or not on-site) English instruction for their employees. I
have found the information on WWW.WorkplaceBasicSkills.com
<http://www.workplacebasicskills.com/> to be very helpful but they are
not ESL specific. Does anyone have specifics or know where I can find
them?
Many thanks,
