I have been reading with interest the posts that concern teaching L1 and
then L2.
LESLLA (Low-educated Second Language and Literacy Acquisition-- for
Adults) is an international organization will be having a conference
Research, Practice, and Policy for Low-educated Second Language and
Literacy Acquisition - for Adults (LESLLA), at Virginia Commonwealth
University in Richmond, November 2-3, 2006. Please visit the LESLLA
website at www.leslla.org for more information about its focus.
There is still space for those who are interested in participating in
this very interesting and seminal event. You can contact me if you are
interested.
