Colleagues,
The following post is from Kevin O'Connor, from Framingham, Mass:
I'm trying to find what other adult ed programs have used for assessment
with female second-language learners who may be low-income or homeless.
*
How many used commercially-based assessments (BEST+, REEP, TABE,
CASAS, etc)?
*
How many use alternative assessments (portfolio-based, interviews,
observations, self-assessments, etc)?
*
Do any of the list subscribers use the EFF framework as part of
their curriculum/assessment structure?
*
Which approaches have been/would be the most authentic and
informative for your program?
