[Assessment 1310] Re: Project IDEALMarie Cora marie.cora at hotspurpartners.comTue May 13 07:46:39 EDT 2008
Hi Tina, Thanks for this. Yes, I am aware that Project IDEAL does have some self assessments which are quite good I hear. Can anyone else comment on Project IDEAL and the self assessments? What do students think of them, does anyone have info/feedback on this? Thanks, Marie -----Original Message----- From: assessment-bounces at nifl.gov [mailto:assessment-bounces at nifl.gov] On Behalf Of Tina_Luffman at yc.edu Sent: Sunday, May 11, 2008 11:49 PM To: The Assessment Discussion List Subject: [Assessment 1308] Re: Another student self assessment question Hi Marie, At Yavapai College our students do self assessments that give the college feedback on how well we are doing. The college sends our classes its own form to gather information on how effective the class as well as the teaching is for each. Project ADEAL also has two self assessments, one to do at orientation and one at the end of the semester to answer research questions on online GED instruction. Yavapai College is a funder for us since they pay our director and transitions advisor salaries and also provide us with our classroom space and free technological support including software, hardware, and ITS. I am not sure if Project IDEAL is a funder of our GED online program here in Arizona, or if they are more of a research & support organization. Happy Mother's Day everyone!
