Hi Aaron and fellow list members:

 

Virginia is currently working to develop content standards for GED and
ESOL adult education programs. We just published our adult education
newsletter, PROGRESS, that highlights our work in this area. You can
access this newsletter at http://www.valrc.org/publications/progress/.

 

One change has been made to the published information. The Program
Manager's conference to introduce the standards will not be held in June
but rather in October.  Currently, we are piloting both sets of
standards in several regions of the state in multiple classrooms
settings.
