After Thanksgiving Day I go out and buy a book and enjoy a read.
This year it is: Three Cups of Tea, by Mortenson and Relin. It gives
an interesting and valuable, I think, view of one man's dream of
establishing school for both boys and girls in Pakistan and
Afghanistan, before the Taliban took over and before 9 / 11.
If you tend to tear up about stories where children learn to read, this
is for you.
