[EnglishLanguage] help with book, videoUjwala Samant lalumineuse at yahoo.comWed Nov 9 04:10:45 EST 2005
Hi Dottie, (long time!) I don't know about a video calling 9-1-1, but I know that a teacher in one of the programmes in Pennsylvania that we observed for research had developed a programme to teach all her ESOL learners about 9-1-1, how to react when mugged, what procedures to follow when pulled over by the police and when at a police station, all of which I thought were extremely useful exercises. I'll look through my notes and try and find which place in PA it was. Or perhaps if she is on this listserv, she will get back to you. How are things with you? regards Ujwala --- Dottie <dottie at shattuck.net> wrote: > Colleagues: could anyone recommend a book(s) of > Idioms for use with my High > Beginner - Intermediate students?
