Dear Educators:

Educational Theater of New York announces the spring schedule for its
plays for students of English as a Second Language, 'The Magic Barrel',
adapted from the short story by Bernard Malamud. The play will be
performed Tuesdays and Wednesdays , March 7,8,14,15 at 6:30 pm. at Wings
Theatre, NYC. There are four performances only; tickets are $12; $10 for
groups of 20 or more. Seating is limited.  Special daytime performances
can be arranged at the theatre or at your school or organization. We

  Students participate after each scene by asking the Presenter
questions.
  They can have the scene repeated if they want or need to see it again.
  Students not only see fascinating plays performed by professional
actors,   
  they also participate actively throughout the evening. 
  After the plays are completed, the actors join the students and
teachers 
  to discuss their opinions and ideas about the characters and themes.
