Sounds good, and I'd like to check "it" out. Where or what is it?

This does not respond to HOW to use a cell phone, but being able to read
the menu options and also using the "animations"/pictures and identify
them. A tutor can do this with an individual for vocabulary
development! It is a unique technology tool, which is readily
available. Check it out. (Mine's an LG phone)

I just got a new cell phone and can't understand the directions in the

book that came with it. Who writes those things? I'd be interested in

lessons for myself! The directions came in Spanish, but I assume they

are as poorly written (or worse) than the English version. Right now I

don't know of any ESOL lessons, but will ask my colleagues and let you

know if we come up with something.

Subject: [EnglishLanguage 597] ESOL and mobile phones

English language learning colleagues,

I wonder if adult ESOL classes help people who have mobile (cell)

phones to use them more fully. Is anyone aware of good directions

for using a mobile phone, written in plain English, with good

illustrations and diagrams, that might be suitable for adult basic

skills learners? I would be especially interested in any lessons

designed for helping ESOL students use mobile phones.

Thanks,

David J. Rosen
