Well, I took a look at what I could find on the subject that might balance the discussion. I have found a website that unabashedly supports the immigrants' position as a cornerstone of the United States' labor force, but they also link to many accredited studies to back up their claims. If one is interested in some research studies on immigration and immigrants, then this is a good source:

On a topic more relevant to the purpose of this forum is this K-12 ESOL curriculum is available through the Arlington Education and Employment Program (REEP), though the subject of immigration is not covered.
