Thanks Clare for that tip! I had already read the article you linked but the
personal contact may prove to be really helpful, in terms not of valuing
people's native/first/mother tongues (which it appears many of us already
do!) but in terms of helping them see and appreciate the difference between
their Creoles and the "standard". I will email Liz. Thanks again!
