I like to keep it simple. Some dishes may go bad if they are left out on a table for an hour or more, especially if they contain seafood or mayonnaise. If your students are going to bring perishables, it is important to have somewhere to refrigerate them or to serve them as soon as they arrive. Always warn students to keep this in mind when planning your potluck. Another idea is to have each contributor post the recipe and a short description on the table in front of each dish and maybe to say a few words about it before starting the feast. -----Original Message----- From: englishlanguage-bounces at nifl.gov [mailto:englishlanguage-bounces at nifl.gov] On Behalf Of Ginger Dempsey, LVNRV Sent: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 9:11 AM To: englishlanguage at nifl.gov Subject: [EnglishLanguage 871] International Potluck Ideas We are hosting an International Potluck for our ESOL students and tutors and are in need of some ideas for games/activities.
