Dear listers,

The 41st TESOL Annual Convention & Exhibit is upcoming March 21-24, 2007 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, Washington. You can access the TESOL homepage at www.tesol.org
and the direct link to convention information is http://www.tesol.org/s_tesol/seccss.asp?CID=1244&DID=6071 Here's a quick sample of just a few presentation topics from the adult ESOL Interest Section:

*
Hiring Part time ESOL Adult Education Teachers
*
ELCivics Making a Difference in the Community
*
A Health Literacy Curriculum for ESOL Beginners
*
Options in Transitioning Students from Adult ESL
*
Teaching ESL in Jail Settings

These and many other topics are of concern to teachers and administrators. While many on this list will be attending TESOL, many others won't have the opportunity.

As in years past, I hope some of you who will be presenting will share information about your presentations for those who won't be able to attend. I hope after TESOL that some of you can find time to share your experiences and resources.

Thanks,

Lynda Terrill
