I have been told that teachers, or other volunteers with good intentions,
should not fill out the forms. This is a legal document and mistakes would
have serious repercussions.  I have also been told by teachers that they
help their students all of the time. The teachers like doing it on line
because it is easy to make changes. What is the current wisdom on this
question?

Hello everyone,

 

I am embarking on a new class.  

 

Does anyone know how long it takes to fill out the application for
citizenship?  We are planning on having them fill it out first and then hold
a class that will start a month later - so they are closer to the interview
when the class ends!

 

Did you need help in having them fill it out or could you do it yourself?
Thanks so much!  Any information you can share regarding citizenship
classes/preparation of paperwork would be of most help!  Thanks!!!
