Has there been any experience with having learners listen repetitively to
content they have chosen, on an MP3 player, before sitting down to read?
Is the computer being used to help, where streaming of the sound is
possible? With the computer it is possible to immediately look up difficult
words, and to save these words to lists for review?
I am curious to know if these and similar approaches area being used since
they can increase the learners' independence, and therefore likelihood of
ongoing success.
