Subject: [EnglishLanguage 2757] Questions about the Redesigned Naturalization Exam

Dear subscribers,

Several months ago some of you had indicated (on and off the list) that you had questions and concerns about the redesigned naturalization exam that will be in place this coming October.  I have corresponded with staff members at USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) who have agreed to respond in writing to questions you might have about the new exam.

Here is the process:
*         Please post questions to the list or to me directly at lterrill at cal.org between now and August 12.
*         I will edit the list (e.g., for repetition, relevance, simplicity), then send the list to staff members at USCIS. At the same time I send the questions to USCIS, I will post them on our discussion list
*         USCIS will respond to the questions in writing and I will post the responses to the list.

Because of summer scheduling, I am not sure when I will receive and post the USCIS responses, but it will most likely be in the beginning of September.

Also, please make the questions as specific as possible.
