Pax et bonum! (peace & goodness)
Please come and join us for the October ESL Shareholders' Network of the
Lake Erie Region!
As co-facilitators for the ESL Shareholders' Network, we would like to
invite all practitioners and professionals with an interest in
English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) from the Lake Erie Region (PA/NY/OH)
to our October Network meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22, 6:00-9:00 PM. The
meeting will be held in cooperation with the Adult ESL Teachers' Network
of NW PA, ESL members of the Millcreek Township (PA) and Erie (PA)
School Districts, members of higher education institutions and other
groups with ESL concerns. We think that this will provide an excellent
opportunity to explore and build on the common ground between Adult,
K-12 and Higher Education ESL teachers.
We will start the meeting with an informal meet 'n greet. Light snacks
will be provided by the Millcreek Township School District. We will also
be looking for suggestions for further discussions from all the
participants.
Who: The ESL Shareholders' Network, The Millcreek Township and Erie
School Districts, Gannon University, anyone with an ESL interest.
What: Discussing the new LinkedIn Site for the Shareholders' Network;
linking ESL provider websites; developing a regional calendar of
community and cultural events; and a forum for ESL parents/students
When: Thursday, October 22, 6:00-9:00 PM
Where: Grandview Elementary School, 4301 Lancaster, Erie, PA 16506
