<div>Hello all,</div>
<div>FYI -- I'll share a couple of resources:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Bookr is an interesting tool I've been experimenting with with both a six-year old and with adult learners at the high beginning/low intermediate levels -- <a href="http://www.pimpampum.net/bookr/" target="_blank">http://www.pimpampum.net/bookr/</a></div>
<div> </div>
<div>Here's a link to the book one young student made: <a href="http://www.pimpampum.net/bookr/?id=4901">http://www.pimpampum.net/bookr/?id=4901</a></div>
<div> </div>
<div>After making this quick book online, this child has been inspired to make books at home, the old-fashioned way, with paper and pencils, and pictures from magazines or stickers or hand-drawn images -- AND with care to write complete sentences... very nice! </div>
<div> </div>
<div>I see great potential for this Bookr tool for collaborative student projects, for adults of all ages - I'm thinking about creating Bookr multi-paged "cards" for holiday greetings using my own personal photos, and for poetry -- </div>
<div> </div>
<div>(Larry Ferlazzo first made me aware of this Bookr site: <a href="http://larryferlazzo.edublogs.org/2007/03/30/photo-books/" target="_blank">http://larryferlazzo.edublogs.org/2007/03/30/photo-books/</a> -- and if you don't know about Larry Ferlazzo's site, I hope this makes you a fan -- his "websites of the day" blog is WELL worth subscribing to!)</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Hope some of you find this helpful,</div>
