[FamilyLiteracy] Sharing issues, ideas, questions & knowledgeDeborah Stedman stedman01 at austin.rr.comThu Feb 16 12:06:02 EST 2006
The NIFL adult education professional development list has recently has some guest moderators and stimulating discussions. So much of what we do in family literacy is adult education and particularly adult ESL. But there is still a lot of "bad ESL" out there, including in family literacy particularly in regard to teaching strategies and curriculum. Can NCFL list bring a knowledgeable, constructivist ESL expert to the list? I'm thinking about someone who fully understands family literacy like Elsa Auerbach, Heide Spruck Wrigley, Gail Weinstein or Carol Van Duzer. Deborah Deborah Stedman, Ph. D.
