Our center is part of the Read to Succeed grant under the Dept. of Ed. We
have 3 yearly Family Literacy Events where we serve dinner to our families,
offer door prizes and also have a workshop with literacy related topics such
as the importance of reading aloud to their children from infants on up to
school-agers. We also give each child a good book to keep. We have had
good response to these workshops and appreciative comments on evaluation
forms.
